Looking for a quick stop before our event at Ford field and walked past Frita Batidos and boy were we happy with this visit. All three staff we interacted with were very polite, friendly and helpful. Clean atmosphere, neat table setup and great food options. Some had a salad option some had the beef burger option with fries and all delicious. Highly recommend if walking this lane way.

Very safe for celiacs needing to eat gluten free. Great food we will be back. A mix of Cuban/Latin American. If you go before a 7pm Redwings game, go at 5pm to get a seat. We loved the chicken and beef Fritas. GF eater had chicken verde bowl. Next time, we’ll order the mayo on the side for the sandwiches, they add a lot and it gets messy. Also, we loved the plantains, but not the loaded ones, because the beans are really spicy. Large groups consider getting the bucket of beers or the fishbowl cocktails because it packs up before games or events and it is hard to get the second drink.

This place was great! I've never had Cuban food so I was a bit hesitant but the food was the best! Even the fries were great. The drinks were perfect! We ordered the chorizo frita, the beef frita and fries. Hibiscus Lemonade, a mojito and flight of Tequilla. Do you see how much Tequilla that is?! 👌🏽. Destini and Bird was awesome, down to earth and gave the best customer service. The customer service was so superior that we asked to speak to the owner Eve. She was truly a sweetheart. They were all genuine and treated us like family. They showered us with complimentary things such as plaintain chips with salsa and guacamole and even their churros and chocolate dip! We talked about this place the rest of the day lol. I can't wait to go back.

Absolute best food, great atmosphere. Highly recommend the Chorizo Frita and the Chocolate Español. Also this location had a fun little soccer game! You flick a ball, 10/10, my finger and pride are bruised after losing but it was a blast!

Delicious food and friendly staff. I got the chorizo frita (with everything on it) and the loaded plantain (with an extra egg). Everything tasted amazing, And the staff was super nice and willing to go the extra mile.

The food was amazing. The service was very slow - with a few more hands this place would be perfect. The best snack ever totally lived up to it's name. It was my favorite thing on the menu. There cilantro lime fries were greasy, I would not order again. The chicken frita was great - I ordered it loco and it was so much food. The passion fruit batido is the best one. The plantains were just okay to me - I usually love plantains and would not reorder. They didn’t taste freshly prepared.

First time to visit Downtown Detroit location. I normally go to their downtown Ann Arbor location. Love the restaurant atmosphere and food and drinks. It is an one of the best burger in town.

Frita Batidos Detroit is the modern standard for exemplary dining, service, and the overall restaurant experience. It is a pillar of Detroit eats, and the best Cuban street food in the entire state. The award winning Frita is a legendary burger where every component is of the highest taste. It pairs perfectly with one of the Batidos, a tropical milkshake, that is my favorite beverage in the area. You can order this with alcohol too, and many other finely crafted drinks including the Frita Mojito, Frita Margarita, Frita Colada, sangria, beer - their bar rolls deep. They also have many other elite food options, I love their chicken salsa verde with 50/50 rice and salad, best snack ever, churros - this whole menu goes all the way in, it’s fire! A must try place.
